Fished it all through 2008. Caught several small Bass and one great big Bluegill (about a pound)! The Bluegill was caught on a 3 hook Husky Jerk! The Bass were caught on several different lures. Not reliable enough to establish a pattern. All my fishing is bank fishing as I do not have a boat. Do NOT believe reports of Northern Pike in this lake. They had some a few years back but after shocking the lake several times they are gone. The store worker has not seen a Pike there in over 5 years. Note the elevation on this one. Always p
Patagoing Lake is a great place to do a little catfishing and there are quite a few good sized bucketmouths (largemouth bass). Its about 10-20 minutes from the town of Patagonia.
