Whats the difference between an Administrator and a Moderator?

Administrator

An administrator has the ability to modify any content, user, or any other aspect of the site. Currently there is only one administrator, thehuskybear. You may contact an administrator at any time if you are in need of help.

 

Moderator

A moderator is a member just like you who has stepped up to contribute to Fish'n Arizona on a higher level. Moderators take time out of their schedule to moderate content and users and to make sure everyone has a good experience here at Fish'n Arizona. We ask that you kindly respect any decision a moderator makes about submitted content. You may contact a moderator at any time if you are in need of help.

What if I can't find the species I am looking for?

Currently, the ability for Anglers to add new species is disabled. If you would like to add a new species to the list, you may take any of the following steps:

  • Post a new topic with a title of "New Fish Species" in the Requests froum.
  • You may contact any moderator or administrator directly to make your request.
  • You may use the main contact form to make your request.

Generally, the new species will be added within an hour. However, it may take as long as 2 or more days, depending on the availability of our content moderator(s) and administrator(s)

Where can I find my "Referral Link"

Your "Referral Link" is a url unique to you that allows you to refer people to Fish'n Arizona. When someone visits this url, they will be taken directly to the registration page. As soon as they register and become an official member, you will receive credit for the referral and 20 Angler Points will be awarded to your account.

To find your "Referral Link":

  1. Go to your Profile
  2. Scroll to the bottom of your profile, where you will find the "Referals" section. Listed below will be your referral link url.
How do I change my password?
  1. Go to your Profile and Settings page.
  2. Find and click the "Edit" Tab.
  3. In the box that is labeled "Account Information", you will find two fields to enter your password. Enter your new password in both fields.
  4. Save!
How do I edit my picture?
  1. Go to your Profile and Settings page.
  2. Find and click the "Edit" Tab.
  3. Find the box that is labeled "Picture". From here you can upload a new picture or remove your current picture.
How do I refer someone to Fish'n Arizona?

There are two ways you can refer someone to Fish'n Arizona:

  1. You can have the person you are refering visit your profile (at anglers/user-user-name-here). At the bottom of your profile, they will find your "Referral Link". If they click this link, they will be taken to the registration page.
  2. You can have the person you are refering visit your "Referral Link" directly.

As soon as the person you referred to Fish'n Arizona becomes an official member, you will receive credit for that referral and 20 Angler Points will be awarded to your account.
